Deposit: A non-refundable deposit
of 50% of the total service fee
is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit confirms your reservation and will be applied toward the total cost of the service.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due at the time of service unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance. Failure to make the final payment as specified may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of any payments made.
Alterations: Any changes to your appointment, including date, time, or service type, must be requested in writing at least 7 days in advance. Changes are subject to availability and may require a new service agreement. If an alternative date is unavailable, the deposit and any payments made may be forfeited.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled appointment will incur a 30% cancellation fee of the total service fee.
Cancellations made 3-7 days before the appointment will result in a 75% cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled service will be charged 100% of the total service fee.
Accuracy of Information: Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete financial and personal information necessary for tax preparation and other services. Mi Casita Taxes & Services is not liable for errors or omissions resulting from incorrect or incomplete client-provided information.
Document Submission: Clients must submit all required tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, receipts, identification, etc.) before the agreed-upon deadline to ensure timely filing. Late submission of documents may result in delays or the inability to complete services before tax deadlines.
Filing Authorization: Clients must review all prepared tax documents for accuracy and provide signed authorization before Mi Casita Taxes & Services submits filings to the IRS or other tax agencies.
Communication: Clients must ensure timely communication and respond to any requests for additional information or clarifications that may affect the accuracy or completion of their tax filings.
Service Tools: Mi Casita Taxes & Services will utilize professional tax preparation software and secure digital platforms to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery. It is the client’s responsibility to provide all necessary financial documents and access any required online accounts for tax preparation or financial services.
Service Quality: Mi Casita Taxes & Services is committed to providing professional, accurate, and timely services. While we strive to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, final responsibility for the accuracy of tax returns and filings remains with the client. Clients are encouraged to review all documents before submission.
Limitation of Liability: Mi Casita Taxes & Services is not responsible for any penalties, interest, or fees incurred due to errors or omissions in the information provided by the client. Our liability is strictly limited to the fees paid for the tax preparation or financial services rendered. We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to changes in tax laws, government processing delays, or technical issues with tax agencies.
Accuracy and Compliance: While we take every precaution to ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws, the final responsibility for tax filings remains with the client. Clients are required to review all documents before submission.
Force Majeure: Mi Casita Taxes & Services shall not be held liable for delays or inability to perform services due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, government shutdowns, tax agency delays, system outages, pandemics, or any other events that prevent the timely completion of tax preparation or financial services.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
